Join us at the 19th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the CRPD (#COSP19) for a side event exploring how international trade systems and financing impact access to assistive technology worldwide.

As the global community marks 20 years of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), this discussion will bring together governments, UN agencies, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), and global experts to explore practical solutions for improving affordable access to assistive technology.

The session will also highlight findings from ATscale’s technical report on assistive technology and international trade.

The event is hosted by the UK Mission to the United Nations and ATscale, and co-sponsored by the International Disability Alliance and UNICEF.

How to join

To accommodate both local and global participants, this session will take place in person at the UN Headquarters and stream live online. If you cannot join in person, you can watch the session live via the broadcast link below.
