Explores the volumes, taxes, tariffs, historical trends and trade agreements related to assistive technology with a special focus on Africa.
Launched in 2024 in partnership with Fundação Faculdade de Medicina, São Paulo, Brazil, this study will focus on analysing the current situation in Africa, identifying key drivers, conducting in-depth studies of specific countries, and laying the groundwork for advocating meaningful change.
The study is expected to be completed by mid-2025 and will result in the first comprehensive report on this critical issue.
