Objectives of the programme: To provide emergency mobility assistive products in humanitarian contexts.
Programme description: In response to the emergency crisis in the Gaza strip, ATscale supports WHO Country Office for the procurement and provision of priority assistive products (focused on products that aid mobility and self-care) to partner agencies or health facilities in Gaza Strip, for provision to injured or displaced individuals.
Programme results:
 | In 2024, over 1,000 assistive products – including wheelchairs, walking frames, and toilet and shower chairs – were procured and distributed by WHO to hospitals in the northern and southern regions of Gaza. |
