Private Sector Board Constituency
Bringing private sector innovation together to expand access to assistive technology.
The ATscale Private Sector Constituency was established to bring diverse private-sector perspectives into ATscale’s strategy and governance. The private sector plays a vital role in the development, production, distribution and innovation of assistive technology. This group provides a dedicated forum to engage with ATscale and with each other – sharing insights, advising on strategic directions, and identifying opportunities to expand access to life-changing assistive technology globally.
Members contribute their experience across a range of domains, including digital accessibility, eyeglasses, hearing aids, prosthetics, wheelchairs, and inclusive product design. The group includes individuals from multinational companies, SMEs, social enterprises, and innovators – reflecting the diversity of business models and markets shaping the assistive technology ecosystem today.
The group plays a strategic advisory role, offering input on topics such as:
| Market shaping and sustainable supply | |
| Innovation and product development | |
| Service delivery models in low- and middle-income countries | |
| Financing and procurement strategies | |
| Public–private collaboration. |
