Webinar: Get ready for World Day for Assistive Technology 2026

Date: Wed, Apr 22, 2026 – Wed, Apr 22, 2026

Join ATscale and the International Disability Alliance (IDA) for a briefing webinar as we count down to World Day for Assistive Technology on 4 June.

This global moment, part of the #UnlockTheEveryday campaign, is dedicated to raising awareness and catalysing action on access to Assistive Technology (AT). Whether you are an advocate, a policymaker, or a private sector partner, this webinar will provide you with the tools and inspiration needed to make an impact.

What is World AT Day about?

Our goals are to:

  • Rally all sectors — including health, education, social protection, development, and the private sector — to shine a spotlight on the importance of assistive technology and call for increased access;
  • Celebrate initiatives around the world that are improving access to AT
  • Amplify the voices of AT users, who experience both the transformative benefits and the persistent barriers to accessing the AT they need.

What’s new in 2026?

We are thrilled to continue with the #MeAndMyAT challenge! We are inviting AT users to share their personal stories and experiences. Help us show the world how AT is "unlocking the everyday" by sharing videos, photos, and testimonials.

We are also looking to recruit national champions to raise even more attention to the issue.
