AT Expo Africa 2027

Plans are underway for AT EXPO AFRICA 2027, proposed as the continent’s first-ever trade show and international dialogue dedicated entirely to assistive technology (AT), care, and rehabilitation.

The inaugural 2027 edition will be proudly hosted by the Government of Senegal, in partnership with OADCPH and ATscale. Designed to maximize continental impact, it is planned as a biennial event that will rotate across different African subregions in the future.

AT EXPO AFRICA 2027 is designed to act as a premier global and regional convener. The event aims to unite a diverse ecosystem—including AT users, governments, manufacturers, distributors, innovators, investors, international institutions, and civil society (including organizations of persons with disabilities - OPDs)—to collaborate on innovative solutions, remove systemic barriers, and promote lasting inclusion across the continent.
