Leopoldine Huyghues Despointes
Leopoldine Huyghues Despointes is film producer, actress and advocate. She was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bones), but rather than disabling her, the disease has served as a catalyst and inspiration.

Leopoldine won the best actress award from The Milwaukee Independent Film Society, amongst other recognitions. Animated by ideas for change and diversity, Leopoldine often initiates creative projects.
She has worked on disability matters at the UN and held the VP position at the WDU. She also took part in cultural and philanthropic initiatives. She named [dis]abled, an InsideOut photography project with artist JR.
Leopoldine has expressed strong enthusiasm and passion for ATscale since her involvement with the launch of Unlock the Everyday in 2024. Driven by her personal experiences as a wheelchair user with a vision impairment, and her commitment to celebrating disability through cinema and storytelling, she has shown strong commitment and motivation to leverage her extensive network, reputation and array of talents for a large-scale initiative such as ATscale.
